Michele Honomichl, Chief Executive Officer / Founder
At Celergo, Michele’s main responsibilities include finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, and new business development.
Previously, Michele was a co-founder of GPSLink, and chief architect of the virtual relocation management model. At GPSLink, she provided the strategic direction of the company, managed investors, supported the technology development, and closed initial sales. Prior to GPSLink, she managed the creation of a world-class expatriate administration center and launched a worldwide expatriate management system for Ford Motor Company.
Michele holds a BS in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Michele is actively involved in the payroll industry by presenting at numerous industry forums on various topics including: Global Payroll, Expatriate and Technology topics. She is also the author of Chapter 13 on International Payroll in the Payroll Answer Book (2008-2011 editions) published by Aspen Publishers.
Brett Knights, Chief Operating Officer
At Celergo, Brett’s main responsibilities consist of client service delivery (which includes implementation, ongoing processing, and relationship management), information technology, partner management, PMO, regional operations, and legal.
Prior to joining Celergo in 2011, Brett was responsible for delivery of payroll services and operations within Hewlett Packard (HP) for over 300,000 employees in 97 countries. In addition, Brett held several General Management and VP roles within Automatic Data Processing (ADP) which focused on development and delivery of outsourced global payroll services within 40 different countries. With over 15 years of global service delivery experience, Brett provides the vision, leadership and experience to ensure Celergo is poised to exceed its client expectations.
Brett has held active memberships in the HROA, APA and SHRM organizations. In addition, he has worked closely with consultants and industry analysts such as The Hackett Group and Webster Buchanan to further develop and promote the use of best practices in the delivery of global payroll services.
Thaddeus Pruss, Vice President of Client Services Operations
At Celergo, Thaddeus’ main responsibilities include the client focused global operations of implementation, account management and relationship management.
Previously, Thaddeus led the US payroll and global expatriate payroll operations for General Electric. In these roles, he provided strategic leadership for improved operational effectiveness and decision making to drive standardization and simplification. Prior to these roles, his career was grounded in building and managing customer / client service organizations for various industry focus’ such as telecommunications, internet business-to-business service providers, consumer computers and deregulated utilities.
Thaddeus holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Robert Palmerton, Controller
At Celergo, Bob’s main responsibilities include Accounting and Controls, Financial Analysis and Planning, and Treasury.
Bob has held various Controllership and Financial Management roles at Automatic Data Processing (ADP), including supporting the Employer Services Payroll and HRIS businesses, the National Hosting Center in Ann Arbor, MI., and ADP corporate offices. Bob also held the role of CFO at Online Tech, Inc., a managed datacenter services company, and has served as a board member and consultant for early-stage software and services firms.
Bob earned a BA in Economics from Fordham University in New York, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Cynthia Brinkley, Vice President of Organizational Development
Cynthia’s key responsibilities are for the management of the Human Resources and Organizational Development initiatives for Celergo.
Prior to joining Celergo, Cynthia was Director of Organizational Development and executive team member for Geneer, a fast growing software development firm. Her key focus was to offer executive coaching and to restructure the organization to accommodate growth.
At the time she joined Geneer, Cynthia brought 28 years of financial services and organizational development expertise. During her banking experience, she held a number of highly visible positions.
Cynthia is authorized in Myers Briggs (MBTI®), Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientations – Behavior (FIRO-B™) and the Strong Interest Inventory®. She is certified in Organizational Diagnosis and Transitional Change Management.
Cynthia holds a BA in Business with a Minor in Organizational Development from DePaul University.
Nick Kay, Sales Director EMEA
At Celergo, Nick’s main responsibilities consist of developing Celergo’s International Sales Revenues (which includes EMEA, APAC, LATAM) and growing Celergo from its position as Global Payroll market-leader in the USA to a similar position in the Rest Of the World. In total Nick has over 20 years of experience of Business Development within HR, Payroll and Workforce Management including roles in Sales Management at MidlandHR, Sales Director at Kronos and most recently Business Development Manager in the SAP Team at NorthgateArinso.
With more than 15 years of Systems Analysis and IT Management experience prior to his roles in Business Development, Nick is solutions focused – working with clients to investigate their requirements, propose solutions and then work with his Service Delivery Team to ensure the implemented solution delivers real business benefits for clients.
