FRANCE REGULATION CHANGE REGARDING COMPLEMENTARY INSURANCE COVERAGE
Celergo would like to give you advance notice regarding a French Regulation change that has HR and thus payroll impact to your operations in France. Kindly note that assistance regarding this change is outside of payroll scope; however, we want to ensure that you are aware and take the appropriate measures internally as you enter the new calendar year.

EMPLOYER ALERT: QATAR WAGE PROTECTION SYSTEM REQUIRED
The Government of Qatar has passed a law making it mandatory for private companies to pay their employee’s salaries electronically, amending some of the provisions of the Labor Law.
Law No.1 of 2015, the Wage Protection System, expressly states that employees should be paid in Qatari Riyals, in their Qatar bank accounts. The payments should also be initiated from the employer’s bank account in Qatar.

There is an HR legislative change in France. It is in relation to the Individual Training Right (DIF) which has now changed and transferred to a Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) (Personal Training Account). Employers must inform their employees in writing about this change as soon as possible. Please note this change does not impact payroll calculations.
