In which countries do you process payrolls?
We have payroll processing and management capabilities in 140+ countries. Visit our country list to search for specific locations. Celergo continually adds countries to the list, so if you have payroll needs in a country not listed, please contact us for more details.
I have expatriate employees. Can you help me?
Yes, we can! The idea for Celergo actually grew out of the need for expatriate services, so we not only take care of expatriate payroll administration, we do it better than anyone in the industry. We provide cash delivery to expatriates in the home and host countries, home and host country tax compliance, consolidation of data for year-end reporting, and much more. Will you handle employee, social programs, and local tax payments for all my countries?
Yes. We often manage the funding needs for our clients, including all employee payments, social programs, and local tax payments. This is accomplished in two ways: (1) Clients provide one payment to Celergo and we handle the currency needs and distribution worldwide. (2) Celergo obtains a power of attorney over a client’s payroll bank account and we manage the payments.
Can my company make payments on our own?
Of course. We’ve designed our services to fit your needs. If a client wants to distribute payroll on their own, Celergo will supply the payment details directly to them for disbursement.
Do I need a bank account in each country?
No, you do not need a bank account in each country unless required by law. We can manage all of your funding needs. When required, Celergo can help you set up the account and, if requested, can manage the ongoing payments using that account.
How long does a typical implementation take?
In most cases, 6 to 8 weeks for small employee groups and 3 to 5 months for larger employee groups and payrolls with HCM integrations. In special cases, the process can be expedited to meet pre-existing deadlines. Contact us for more details.
Can you integrate with my HR system?
Yes, we integrate with multiple HR systems. We can provide upload data for new hires, terminations, and payroll changes for clients’ employees worldwide.
Can you integrate with my accounting system?
Yes, we currently integrate with clients’ accounting systems to provide general ledger detail for each pay cycle. Depending on the client’s internal accounting structure, general ledger detail can be set up for each payroll, entity, country, or on a worldwide basis.
Will you work directly with my relocation and tax providers?
If you’d like us to, we will work directly with your relocation and tax providers to support the management of expatriate programs. Celergo works closely with a variety of relocation and tax providers today, with minimal client involvement.
What types of payroll cycles do you manage?
Although monthly payroll is most common worldwide, Celergo also processes weekly, fortnightly (26 times per year), and semi-monthly (24 times per year). Many countries have additional cycles for vacation and holiday payments, which Celergo accommodates on a payroll by payroll basis.
What type of clients do you support?
We service clients in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, financial services, education, insurance, real estate, technology, and many others – often in some of the toughest business and regulatory environments worldwide.
Do you support only centralized payroll management?
We’re flexible. We can support your operations with a centralized headquarters approach, where all direction is provided from one location, or with a regional/local approach, where changes come from the regional or local HR directly to one of our service centers.

Do you manage the payroll administration of stock plans?
Yes. Celergo works directly with our clients’ stock management companies or with their internal equity teams to ensure the appropriate data is processed through payroll for tax compliance and year-end reporting.
Do you handle full IT integration and transmission?
Clients pass data securely to Celergo utilizing secure FTP sites or via Celergo’s document management technologies. During the implementation process, we work with our clients to determine the best solution to meet their needs.

We price our services based on (1) the country (2) the number of pay cycles (3) the number of employees per pay cycle. Pricing includes the most comprehensive payroll management services in the industry, providing more value than any of our competitors. Do you provide benefits, human resources, and time reporting services?
Our mission is to provide the simplest, most hassle-free global payroll in the industry. That means we apply every ounce of energy and resources to making the payroll process more efficient, user-friendly, and quality-driven, so we can stay ahead of our clients growing international initiatives and needs. Therefore, our corporate focus does not include providing benefits, human resources, or time reporting services. Is Celergo SSAE 16 Certified?
What is SSAE 16?
SSAE 16 effectively replaces Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) for service auditor’s reporting periods ending on or after June 15, 2011. The Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants created the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements 16 (SSAE 16) to redefine and update how service companies such as Celergo report on compliance controls. Under those standards, we provide a Type II report, which shows how we managed controls over time, for a more complete picture of our efforts.
